Description
The small gouge or carving tool has what looks like an " R or A " followed by " some worn letters and " ois " on one side and a " 5 " on the reverse. It is 7 1/2 inches long and the cutting edge is just over 1/4 inch wide. The scribing tool or wood awl is heavy and 6 3/8 inches long with the handle being 1 3/4 inches at the widest point. The the tip is dull, but the previous owner used this for carving detail work. It has no markings on the tool.
