Antique SJ Addis FISHTAIL gouge (Made in London, England) - in very fine condition, with an English boxwood handle that is pretty much flawless. (9-3/8” overall length) Tool has been lightly cleaned and it is sharp. As per the view shown in the seventh frame (of photo series provided here) the widest part of the cutter edge is just slightly over a half inch in width (13/32”) - making this tool quite handy for certain carving tasks that call for this size. Overall, excellent fishtail gouge by this world famous maker of prized carving tools made for fine wood-working activities.
